An initiative known as The Cypher Projekt recently uploaded the "Kolkata Rap Cypher" on their YouTube channel.
FYI, a rap "cypher" may be described as a gathering of performers, usually with a common subject, where they rap together on the same song.
Driven by a catchy beat and some gritty electric guitar, it brings together some of the city's best underground rappers.
The cypher includes talented local rappers such as Joe, who is sure to blow you away with his rhymes.
It also contains a verse from Cizzy, who raps entirely in Bengali.
I REPEAT, WE HAVE A BENGALI RAPPER IN THE HOUSE.
