A (Smart) Blonde Offers Collateral For A Loan...

A blonde woman walks into a Manhattan bank and says she'd like to take out a $5,000 loan since she will be vacationing to Europe. When the banker asks what she will be using as collateral, she points to her brand new Bentley. The banker is surprised, but agrees. She leaves, and he laughs; who uses such an expensive car as collateral for such a small loan? But he shrugs it off and parks the car in the banks garage. Three weeks later, the woman returns to the bank. He retrieves her car and she pays back the $5,000 plus $14.00 in interest. As she goes to leave, the man decides he has to ask. "Ma'am," he says, "why in the world would you use a $100,000 as collateral for a $5,000 loan?" She smiles and replies "where else can I park for three weeks in Manhattan for $14?"

The Fight to Save Japan’s Young Shut-Ins

In Japan, hikikomori has been a household word since the 1990s, with many experts calling it one of the biggest social and health problems plaguing the country. Yet the causes and treatments of the condition — or even whether it’s a mental illness or not — remain poorly understood. And while the Japanese government has poured significant funds into helping hikikomori, treatment success rates remain low.

That’s what some fans think after these screenshots, allegedly of the official Island Records Instagram account, surfaced on social media last night.

According to fans, the image on the left is a screenshot of a teasing announcement made by the official Island Records' Instagram account. Allegedly uploaded for a brief time before being taken down, the post features a picture of Lovato posing with Island executives David Massey and Eric Wong as well as the caption “Big news coming this week about our #IslandFamily! Stay tuned for more." It circulated on Twitter along with the screenshot on the right, which is supposed to be proof of an Instagram conversation between a fan and Island Records president David Massey. Together, the images sparked rumors that Lovato is leaving Hollywood Records to sign with Island.

J. Cole Is Going To Let Single Mothers Live In His Childhood Home

“My goal is to have that be a haven for families. So every two years a new family will come in, they live rent-free.”

Cole opened up about his childhood, which included moving from a military base to a trailer park, and explained the importance of children feeling a sense of pride and safety in their homes.

He no longer lives at the residence, and laid out the general plan for his project on the show.

"The idea is that it's a single mother with multiple kids and she's coming from a place where all her kids is sharing a room," he said. "She might have two, three kids, they're sharing a room. She gets to come here rent free. I want her kids to feel how I felt when we got to the house." He added that each family would live in the home for two years at a time.

J. Cole also acknowledged the attention brought to his old address after he named his latest album after it, and how that might affect the incoming families.

"By the way, tell people to stop going to my house and sitting on my roof taking pictures," he said.

Taylor Swift's Private Twitter Messages Leak Online After Hack

“Are we bad kids?” she asked Nick Jonas.

Though the messages' authenticity cannot be confirmed, they were tweeted out by the person who took responsibility for the attack, Twitter user @tempveri, whose account has since been suspended.

One sketchy detail is that Swift appears to have no notifications. With over 51 million followers, that's pretty doubtful.
