This is Nancy Franck.
KCRG reported she's currently at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, recovering from complications after cancer-related surgery.
And this is her husband Dale, who, KWWL reported, took her dog Sissy and her brother Barney out from a walk at around 1.30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Only for Sissy to vanish.
"I thought they both came back in the house. I was panicking. (Sissy's) my baby. I'm sorry," he told KWWL.
And where was Sissy?
Well, she'd gone to visit her mamma in hospital, of course.
Yup, Dale looked for her for several hours, but it was only after four hours he found out where she was, after he got a call from the medical centre.
